Expert Profile



Dr. Muhammad Irhammudin bin Ibrahim is an Assistant Professor (DS13) at the International Institute for Halal Research and Training (INHART), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).  He holds a PhD in Halal Industry and he used to served as a halal auditor in Brussels Belgium with the completing audits across multiple European countries and big companies such as Godiva, Puratos and Abbot and supporting corrective action follow ups. His work sits at the intersection of halal governance, resilient halal value chains, and Muslim friendly tourism ecosystems, with experience in teaching halal standards, halal auditing, and strategic management for the halal industry.  He is also a certified JAKIM halal trainer and a competent halal auditor by Indonesian Government, and actively contributes to policy focused discussions on Islamophobia and its impact on halal markets and Muslim minority communities.
